ABOUT MENDOCINO

The town of Mendocino is located on the coast of California, about 150 miles north of San Francisco.  It was founded in the 1850's during the gold rush, and has managed to keep it's quaint charm, as if it was frozen in time.  Jen and Rob knew after a visit following their engagement, that the setting would be a perfect backdrop for their wedding.  The rocky coastline, spectacular views and coastal fog are truly breathtaking.

Mendocino's weather is very temperate, with high's barely ever reaching into the 70's.  Expect the weather during June to be in the high 60's during the day, with it getting down to 50 or cooler in the evening.  For this reason, pack accordingly - the ceremony will be outdoors, and the reception will be in a tent in the lawn (don't worry, there will be heat lamps!).  But don't make the common misconception that this will be hot Cali summer weather - pack a warm coat and layers!!
